Candy “Coolness”
I must say that I really love these sweets. At one time they replaced the terribly expensive “BOUNTY”, which I often bought.
I prefer “Coolness” among others, although the price is not cheap.
These candies are not easy, which is why it turns out that you can’t buy or eat a lot of them. Expensive and filling.
We have a tradition at work: if someone has a birthday, then the birthday person buys chocolates for everyone. And these “Cool” candies are very popular.
Their candy wrapper is very beautiful, bright, and attracts attention. The candy itself is large and rectangular.
The most tempting thing about them is the filling, it is made from coconut flakes. Not everyone likes these sweets, they are a little hard for some who have weak teeth, the filling is really not soft and you have to chew it hard.
But they became much worse; their filling became, like pastille, too soft. I don't really like it. And milk chocolate has changed and it's noticeable. It's a shame that this happened to any of my candies.

What additives are commonly used?
If we assume that the sweets are made entirely from natural products, then they should be stored for a few days. But in reality this does not happen. To improve taste and increase shelf life, add:
- natural flavors (beet juice, blueberry, currant, strawberry) and identical to natural;
- stabilizers and antioxidants;
- thickeners;
- preservatives;
- humectants;
- dyes;
- emulsifiers;
- sweeteners.
Not all of them are harmful, but some can cause allergies or stomach upset.
How to choose harmless ones?
When discussing harm, you must first decide what kind of harm we are talking about.
If you are a figure watcher and a fan of healthy eating, then any sweets will be harmful for you. But if you are simply afraid of possible allergic reactions or poisoning, then pay attention to the composition:
- it must be written in Russian;
- all ingredients should be familiar and understandable to you;
- The ingredient list should be short.
The expiration date should not be more than 2 months. The smaller it is, the better.
Eating unlimited quantities of sweets (and the type, brand and manufacturer does not matter) is harmful in any case.
Better yet, don’t deny yourself the pleasure of eating one or two candies with tea. Your mood will definitely improve and your soul will feel warm.
Consuming sweets in small portions promotes the production of the joy hormone and makes the brain work better.
Today, candy products are one of the safest products in terms of the amount of additional additives they contain. So eat for your health.
I recently tried coconut candies, which I didn’t like at all before. Last spring, while I was pregnant, I bought “Bounty” in packs of five, then “Pyaterochka” still had a promotion on them, I went for them every day and gobbled them up with my son) My son is also a lover of sweets. And then I decided to go through coconut candies and tried several varieties. One of them is candies from Akkond "Coolness".
Why I bought them, I just read the reviews, many people liked these candies, there are, of course, those who didn’t like them, however, for every product there is a lover and a dissatisfied one. I thought, why haven’t I bought them yet to try, especially since they are always available in “Magnits”, and constantly, and not like some candies that only appear from time to time.
I liked their appearance; in general, I always love when candies are decorated in blue, some kind of reminder of summer. Moreover, the pictures depicted on the “Coolness” candies are very, very reminiscent of summer, although it is not our nature that is depicted at all, this is not even important.
These candies look quite large, they are covered with glaze, at first glance it looks like milk chocolate, but when you eat these candies, the taste of the glaze is not at all like milk chocolate, it is something so distant, and in general, the glaze of these candies is not very tasty, with a strange aftertaste that ruins everything.
But the filling is okay, I like the filling, it’s milky coconut. Overall the impression was normal, I can’t say it’s great, but it’s not all bad either. It is possible, a rating of three is most likely, it would be a pity to give it a four, I seriously doubt this rating.

The Bounty chocolate bar is amazingly durable. It appeared on our market as one of the first chocolate bars, about 20 years ago, at the same time as Mars and Snickers, and so far no one has gotten tired of it - it has quite a lot of fans. It is clear that there are always a lot of performers for a good idea, one of which was the Akkond confectionery factory (Cheboksary), famous for its intricate and original candies, waffles and desserts. In the Akkonda assortment, the pseudo-bounty is called “Coolness” sweets.
The design of the candy wrapper completely satisfies me: it is simple, unpretentious, and awakens exactly those associations that it should awaken - with the “Bounty”. And why try to come up with something of your own if we all have a connection with this bar anyway? The television advertisement “Bounty” imposed on us the association of the coconut with a certain tropical desert island, which, according to the creators of the video, represents a paradise. And Akkond did not reinvent the wheel, but followed a proven and well-trodden path. The same palm trees, the same sea, the same island...
The only thing that causes rejection in these candies is the so-called chocolate glaze. Yes, I know that “Bounty” was also made in milk chocolate, but it would be possible to at least deviate from the original in this regard? Show off your pastry skills?
