Put the boiled rice on a sieve and pour over with cold water.
Rinse raisins and dried apricots, sort, remove twigs and spoiled dried fruits. Cut dried apricots into 3-4 pieces.

Remove the finished cake from the oven. Lubricate its surface with oil, cover and let rest for five minutes. Then cut off the top cake with a knife, pour a mixture of butter and ghee into the cake, evenly distributing it throughout the cake. To do this, you will have to carefully penetrate the edges of the lower crust bent onto the filling with a spoon. Cover with a cut "lid" and let the cake stand for another 15-20 minutes, wrapped in a towel.

Traditionally, a cake with raisins and dried apricots turns out to be quite high (zur-balish), so it is eaten in a “disassembled” form.
